Back from Iraq and glad to be home!

About Us

We are a small independent company located in Salem, Ohio, about one block southeast of Salem Community Hospital. We’re in the same building as Salem Home Medical Supply.

The lead clinician is Joey Pollak. He is licensed in Orthotics and Prosthetics (O&P) by the state of Ohio and is nationally accredited by ABC, American Board of Certification. He graduated cum laude in O&P from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas in 1997. Working nearly continuously since then, he was afforded the opportunity to work in prosthetics while on active duty recall by the Navy on independent assignment to the Army Civil Military Operations Unit in Baghdad, Iraq.

Prior to starting into O&P his passion was flying carrier-base A-6 Intruders for the Navy after graduating from the U.S. Naval Academy with a General Engineering Degree. So although starting this career later in life he brings a wealth of knowledge and sound engineering design and principles to the field.

Through his art, he always had a deep appreciation of the human form, function and aesthetics. The marriage of these, truly brings a keen eye and a unique combination of art and science to every visit.
